Ich muss zugeben, dass ich sofort dem Charme dieser Lieder erlegen war. Die Art wie Pete Davis sanft die Musik mit der Spannung der Texte steigert hat zumindest mich direkt angesprochen. Teilweise erinnert mich die Struktur der Lieder eher an ein Musical als an ein einzelnes Lied und an der Stelle die unbedingte Empfehlung euch die Texte genauer anzuschauen, da sie extrem ungewöhnlich und interessant strukturiert sind. Außerdem ist es für den Blog glaub ich neuer Mengenrekord was ihr hier an kostenlosen Liedern bekommt, was einen nicht wundern sollte wenn ein Musiker bereits seit 2002 Musik macht. Wenn euch die aktuellen Lieder gefallen behaltet ihn unbedingt noch im Auge da er derzeit noch an dem Release arbeitet und plant weitere Songs hinzuzufügen. Wenn es ein Album schafft einem Gänsehaut zu verschaffen muss es was richtig machen. Hier sollte jeder zumindest mal reinhören.

I need to admit that I immediately fell in love with those songs. The way Pete Davis softly raises the tension of the music in harmony with the text was very appealing to me at least. Partly, those song structures remind me more of a musical than a typical single song. I should add that you really need to take a closer look at the lyrics as they are extremely intricate and interesting. Furthermore, Pete Davis now holds the record regarding the most songs you can download from a musician on this blog, which shouldn't surprise you when reading that his first release was already 8 years ago. If you like the most recent songs, you really need to remember to check back later this year as he is still working on that release and plans to add more songs. If an album is able to give you the creeps, then it must be doing something right. Everyone should give these songs at least one listen.
